Job Summary:

As a skilled Machinist at Path Engineering, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing components, operating manual mills, lathes, VTL, Bridgeport, and more. You will also reverse engineer old parts, interpret engineering drawings, maintain equipment, and review job orders. This role offers a dynamic job-shop environment and the opportunity to learn CNC machining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and repair components to precise specifications
  • Operate manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and VTL
  • Reverse engineer old parts and interpret engineering drawings
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Review job orders and ensure accurate completion of tasks

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and ability to produce features on parts to tolerances of +/- 0.001"
  • One to three years of work experience with proficiency in the operation of manual machining equipment
  • Two-year degree from a technical school or certificate from an industrial program preferred
