The Hood Technician is a key member of our team at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers, responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our services. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in this critical role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify areas that require lubrication and maintenance.
  • Perform lubrication services in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with service consultants and technicians to identify additional repair needs and provide recommendations.
  • Inspect and maintain fluid levels, belts, hoses, and wiper blades to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Check tire pressure and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance principles is desired but not required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending.
  • Occasional exertion of 50-100 lbs of force and frequent exertion of 10-25 lbs of force.
  • Requires working at a production rate pace with constant pushing and/or pulling of materials.
