As a Carpenter at Essel, you will be responsible for working on a variety of construction projects, including framing, installing fixtures, and completing finishing work.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Select and evaluate materials for suitability.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, composition, and other building materials.
- Build and install structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using various tools and equipment.
- Install cabinets, shelving, and other fixtures.
- Finish surfaces by sanding, staining, varnishing, or painting as needed.
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout all phases of the construction project.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a construction or related field.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
