Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing medical care and support to our patients, working closely with our veterinarians and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and exams
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results
  • Prepare and administer medications
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to veterinarians
  • Provide patient care and support, including feeding, bathing, and exercising
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or registered veterinary technician (RVT)
  • Experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
