Compensation: $36.00 to $39.00/hr based on experience

Role Overview: As an Equipment Reliability Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized training and guidance in troubleshooting machinery and equipment to Electricians and Maintenance teams, while ensuring thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams on program development, governance, and the implementation of modifications to plant machinery and equipment aimed at enhancing efficiency, product quality, and reliability.
  • Conduct high-level troubleshooting for machine issues during shifts.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery, ensuring adherence to procedures, timelines, and safety regulations, while verifying proper operation upon completion.
  • Engage with external contractors, suppliers, and field service personnel for the installation, repair, or commissioning of plant machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of new installations and modifications to existing equipment, ensuring that drawings, manuals, and job folders are properly organized for future reference.
  • Enhance skill levels to ensure proficiency on both existing and new equipment through seminars, training classes, technical publications, and site visits to other facilities.
  • Operate specialized testing and diagnostic equipment, maintaining instruction manuals and service records.

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, rotating every two weeks
  • 2-2-3 work schedule (one week you would work Monday and Tuesday, off on Wednesday and Thursday, then work Friday-Sunday. The following week would be the opposite - off on Monday and Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday, off on Friday-Sunday.)

Work Environment: Industrial setting
  • Safety is our utmost priority; adherence to safety procedures and guidelines is mandatory, including the use of safety gear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed footwear.
  • The role is situated within a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment, requiring adaptability to various areas of the facility.
  • Environmental conditions may vary, including heat, cold, and noise.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical Technology.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Direct experience with PLC, motion, and automated equipment.
