We are seeking a skilled and experienced veterinary technician to join our team at URGENT VETERINARY SURGICAL SUITES, INC. as a surgical veterinary technician.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in surgical procedures, including monitoring anesthesia and maintaining a sterile environment
- Perform tasks such as drawing blood, placing catheters, and administering medications
- Restrain animals during procedures and provide post-operative care
- Monitor vital signs and provide detailed discharge instructions to owners
- Assist with radiographs, lab work, and medication administration
- Experience as a veterinary technician, preferably in a surgical setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move animals as needed
