Agronomy Sales Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our agronomy sales team as an intern. As an agronomy sales intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the agronomy business, working closely with our experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in agronomy, precision farming, corn, and soybeans
  • Assist the agronomy team in scouting fields, conducting on-farm sales, and customer service calls
  • Analyze insect crop protection methods, fertilizer applications, and insect management
  • Learn retail agronomy business, management viewpoints, and attend sales meetings
  • Coordinate seed plots for grower plot days
  • Work with the Seed Lead and Agronomy Regional Business Leader on special projects
  • Present findings to the AgState agronomy sales group at the completion of the project
Requirements:
  • Pursuing an associate degree or bachelor's degree in an Ag-related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or above
  • Passion for agriculture
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to a minimum height of 36 inches
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
