Seeking a Staff Engineer for Ardurra's Aviation Division

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • EI/EIT Certification required or the ability to obtain within 18 months
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in airport consulting or engineering preferred
  • Familiarity with FAA advisory circulars concerning airport design and the FAA grant process
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-driven, collaborative individual capable of tackling challenging projects within a team setting
  • Willingness to travel, particularly during construction seasons
Core Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate client communication for designated projects
  • Prepare construction cost estimates
  • Design components, manage tasks, and prepare drawings
  • Investigate design alternatives and present findings to management
  • Provide onsite project representation
  • Conduct construction inspections and oversight
  • Perform additional assigned responsibilities
Physical Demands:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to navigate various locations and environments
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
