Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of our battery manufacturing facilities, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of battery manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Conduct site visits and perform punch list field walks to ensure quality and adherence to design standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring that designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Architecture Degree.
  • Architecture Licensure required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in construction documentation utilizing Revit.
  • Experience in construction of Type I and Type II Construction Types, with experience in Construction Administration (CA) phase (RFIs, field reports, and shop drawings/submittals review).
  • Knowledge of various codes (IBC, ADA, NFPAs, etc.) and CSI specifications coordination.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Sketch Up, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, CAD, Navisworks.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
