Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive trauma-informed mental health care to survivors of human trafficking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, as well as consultation and case management services to centers.
  • Conduct assessments, provide training and technical assistance, and meet the goals and objectives of the department.
  • Assist with data analysis and manuscript preparation and presentation.
  • Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning actions to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty or field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
