Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team at Golden Nugget Restaurant. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a genuine smile and positive attitude.
  • Anticipate Guest Needs: Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Guest Complaints: Handle guest complaints or issues professionally or bring them to the manager when necessary.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Assist with running food, delivering and/or refilling guests' drinks, and guide guests to their tables and present them with menus.
  • Take-Orders: Take to-go orders over the phone and in person.
  • Follow-Up: Engage with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service, refill drinks, and clear plates as needed during guest's dining experience.
  • Customer Service: Provide great customer service and provide highchairs and other requested items to the guest.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
  • Skills: Organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to multitask.
  • Availability: Availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays.
  • Language: Must be able to read and write in English and handle math calculations.
