Greenhouse Coordinator

BrightFarms Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Greenhouse Coordinator to support the efficient operations of our greenhouse. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing daily office needs.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital
- Assist with daily office tasks, including greeting visitors and managing paperwork
- Inventory Control and Supply Management
- Track expenses and manage inventory levels
- Order supplies and materials as needed
- Support to Associates and Workforce
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees
- Manage and prepare new employee paperwork
- Organize training and celebration events for staff
- Communicate benefits information and manage ADP Workforce Now HRIS
- Compliance and Safety
- Maintain logs and communicate any safety issues
- Assist with workers' compensation and injured employee return-to-work programs
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Two years' experience in office administration
- Associate's degree in Business or a related field
- Human Resources education or experience; SHRM certification a plus
- This is a full-time position with occasional overtime
- 80% of the job is performed in an office environment, 20% in the greenhouse and head house
- Some Saturday hours may be required
