Job Summary

BrightFarms Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Greenhouse Coordinator to support the efficient operations of our greenhouse. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing daily office needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital
    • Assist with daily office tasks, including greeting visitors and managing paperwork
  • Inventory Control and Supply Management
    • Track expenses and manage inventory levels
    • Order supplies and materials as needed
  • Support to Associates and Workforce
    • Assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees
    • Manage and prepare new employee paperwork
    • Organize training and celebration events for staff
    • Communicate benefits information and manage ADP Workforce Now HRIS
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Maintain logs and communicate any safety issues
    • Assist with workers' compensation and injured employee return-to-work programs
Requirements
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Two years' experience in office administration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Business or a related field
  • Human Resources education or experience; SHRM certification a plus
Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time position with occasional overtime
  • 80% of the job is performed in an office environment, 20% in the greenhouse and head house
  • Some Saturday hours may be required
