Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Haul Truck Operator to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in a Full-Time position.

About the Role

The Haul Truck Operator will be responsible for operating a haul truck to transport rock products from the plant to the stockpile as directed. This role requires a strong focus on safety, productivity, and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the haul truck to transport rock products from the plant to the stockpile, following all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform daily walk-around equipment inspections and report any issues or concerns.
  • Utilize equipment to maximize productivity and minimize wear and downtime.
  • Work in all areas of the plant as needed, including operating an 8,000 gallon Water Truck to maintain dust control.
  • Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment to ensure prompt resolution.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience operating a haul truck in an open-pit mining environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; MSHA training a plus.
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
