Cylinder Loader

At Airgas, we are seeking a skilled Cylinder Loader to join our team. As a Cylinder Loader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading high-pressure and liquid cylinders on and off trucks in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas, welding, and safety supply industry or chemical industry, with a minimum of one year prior experience in manufacturing operation, filling, or loading experience. You will be responsible for examining returned cylinders for surface defects, dents, cracks, burns, and performing minor maintenance of equipment and inspection of cylinders prior to filling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload high-pressure and liquid cylinders on and off trucks
• Examine returned cylinders for surface defects and perform minor maintenance
• Inspect cylinders prior to filling
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Record type and quantity of cylinders

Requirements:

• Minimum one year prior experience in manufacturing operation, filling, or loading experience
• Strong background in gas, welding, and safety supply industry or chemical industry
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
