Building Attendant

Overview: The Building Attendant is tasked with ensuring the upkeep of the facility and ice surface during assigned shifts, alongside assisting with routine maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the facility
  • Operate the Zamboni for ice resurfacing
  • Execute minor repairs and special projects as needed
  • Conduct weekly maintenance activities
  • Secure the premises during opening and closing hours
  • Understand and implement emergency protocols
  • Oversee the usage of the facility
  • Enforce facility regulations
  • Provide assistance and answer inquiries
  • Coordinate events and programs as required
  • Manage the ice schedule effectively
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred, though training is available for suitable candidates. Physical strength is necessary.

Certifications: CPR/AED Certification and a valid Driver's License are mandatory.

Work Schedule: Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required, with a commitment of less than 20 hours per week.

Employment Type: Part-Time
