We are seeking full-time/hourly Resident Care Technicians who will provide personal care, companion care, nursing assistance, and other assigned tasks to our residents. Duties and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the Resident Care Coordinator/Director based on an evaluation of resident needs.

Work Schedule/Shift

We offer a variety of shifts, including PM Shift: 2p-10:30p and NOC Shift: 10p-6:30a.

Compensation

The starting hourly rate is $14.00/hour DOE.

Your Responsibilities

As a Resident Care Technician, you will:
  • Provide companion care as listed on resident's plan of care.
  • Assist with bathing or showering to ensure thorough cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Assist residents with dressing while maintaining individual privacy.
  • Assist with scheduling medical appointments or other vital services.
  • Promote appropriate levels of independence in resident care and demonstrate awareness of safety for both resident and self.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have adaptability, strong organization and time management skills. You should also possess excellent resource management, computer, record keeping, interpersonal, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills. A high school diploma is required, and six months of experience in providing personal care in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
