Job Overview

Position Summary:

At Walk In MD Clinic, you will be an integral part of a dedicated clinical team responsible for patient assessment, executing your professional duties, and collaborating to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct radiologic examinations in accordance with Walk In MD and ARRT standards, ensuring the use of appropriate radiation safety measures and shielding in line with ALARA principles.


• Operate the PACS system: verify studies for analysis, transmit studies to external facilities, liaise with radiologists, and resolve any discrepancies with teleradiology.


• Support various clinic operations, including patient assessment and point-of-care testing, to enhance customer satisfaction and clinic efficiency.


• Engage in telephone communications for tasks such as confirming and clarifying external radiology orders and processing requests for copies of radiographs.


• Maintain clinical equipment functionality by fulfilling preventive maintenance obligations; report any repair needs to the clinic's maintenance personnel.


• Contribute to a clean and organized clinic environment by managing spills, disposing of waste, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:


• Valid state licensure.


• Certification from ARRT.


• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification is preferred; American Red Cross BLS Certification is acceptable.

Experience Requirements:


• Proficient in using EMR systems.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and rapidly acquire new skills and knowledge.


• Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as per clinic policy.

Additional Skills:


• Excellent customer service abilities, familiarity with EMR systems, and a strong willingness to learn.
