About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our team at Jobot. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns for our clients, including corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate income tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and organize client tax documentation
  • Prepare challenging individual, passthrough and non-profit income tax returns
  • Maintain compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist clients with tax notices and audits
  • Work closely with tax and audit staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in tax
  • Familiarity with not-for-profit tax preparation
  • Familiarity with IRS regulations
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft software including Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in accounting or tax
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Tax software
  • Experience with CCH Engagement software
  • Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
