We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Worldwide Grocery Stores Real Estate team. As a strategic finance partner, you will play a critical role in shaping the long-term strategy and future of grocery, omni-channel, and new physical store formats across Amazon.
Key Responsibilities- Own the Grocery Real Estate proforma analyses and provide accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Partner closely with Real Estate and Launch & Expansion teams to ensure accuracy of leasing reporting and tracking, and serve as the Finance owner for portfolio management across multiple grocery banners.
- Provide FMV (Fair Market Value) analysis and assess regional market rate impacts to inform investment decisions.
- Analyze current Real Estate processes and influence key decisions across multiple investments projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance scalability and productivity.
- Contribute to highly visible planning documents, including OP1, Guidance, REC packages, CAR reviews, and month-end close and controllership functions.
- Independently use financial and business systems, including COGNOS, Coupa, Tango, Sales Force, and advanced Excel functions to work with and manage large data sets.
- Provide support with quarterly GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) framework requirements.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to influence investment decisions and drive long-term profitability across our growing portfolio.
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include 6+ years of experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, solving complex business challenges, and delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations.
- MBA or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, and other financial systems, including Oracle, SAP, Lawson, and JD Edwards.
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
- 5+ years of experience in investment valuations, including NPV, IRR, FMV, and other relevant metrics.
