Overview

Covenant Health's employed and managed medical practice organization is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for its Cardiology Associates of East Tennessee clinic. This full-time, 80-hour-per-pay-period role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will provide professional nursing care within an outpatient clinic setting, coordinating care planning with other disciplines as necessary. Strong clinical expertise and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - 100,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards.
  • Precept new employees/students as needed, reviewing clinical performance with the office manager or clinical instructor/supervisor.
  • Collaborate with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee relations, interdepartmental objectives, and infection control policies.
  • Prepare patients for scheduled procedures and assist in patient assessment, accurately recording history and performing basic triage procedures per policy.
  • After retrieving the condition of patients, create nursing histories and discuss recommendations for appropriate interventions with practitioners.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to patient comfort and privacy by using AIDET fundamentals of communication.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families during their visit.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records, maintaining all required reports, records, statistics, etc.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Tennessee RN license and at least three years of professional nursing experience. CPR and OSHA training annually are also required.
