We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to assist our team of ophthalmologists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examination by obtaining medical history and performing preliminary tests.
• Assist with various diagnostic tests, including visual acuity, tonometry, and retinal imaging.
• Maintain and operate ophthalmic equipment.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and follow-up care.
• Record and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support the ophthalmologist during examinations and procedures.
• Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as an ophthalmic technician preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
