About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Hollywood Casino St. Louis. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dishroom and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all dishware, glassware, and silverware to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment, including dishwashing machines, sinks, and storage areas.
  • Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and sanitizing processes.
  • Remove garbage and refuse, mop and sweep floors, and wash walls and ceiling tiles to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Stack and store china and other kitchen items in a clean and organized manner.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Prior restaurant or cleaner experience preferred (6 months-1 year experience).
  • Must present sanitation certificate from local Health Department.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
