Job Title: Van Driver

Element Care is seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting participants around the community and to medical appointments as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport participants to and from medical appointments and other outside appointments, as necessary.
  • Assist participants to and from the van for all pickups and drop offs.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the van to ensure safe transportation.
  • Notify the Director immediately of any incidents or accidents.
  • Work with the Supervisor of Drivers to identify specific needs of each participant.
  • Remove snow around the van during winter months to ensure client safety.
  • Assist Day Care Center Staff with local activities and other duties, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Valid state Driver's License from the state of residence.
  • Minimum 5 years of safe driving experience.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and DOT mandated driver training.
  • Be CPR and First Aid Certified.
  • Able to physically move and maneuver participants in a wheelchair.
  • Must be a responsible, flexible team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
