Job Title: RN Supervisor, PACU

Community Medical Centers is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As a seasoned nurse with a passion for critical care, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, mentoring and developing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our unit.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of RNs in the PACU, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement unit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with the unit manager and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to promote professional growth and development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Current California RN license.
  • 2 years of experience as a staff RN in a critical care setting, preferably in a PACU or ICU.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
