Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Williamson Health. As a Perinatal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric and neonatal care in an environment that prioritizes patient well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care to patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
Requirements:
  • Licensed by the State of Tennessee
  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
  • At least one year perinatal experience preferred
  • Certified Lactation Consultant, preferred
  • NRP within six months of hire
  • ACLS certification or agree to obtain within six months of hire
  • Level I, Level II and fetal monitoring within 1 year of hire
  • Able to function in stressful situations
  • Able to return to work within 1 hour when on call
Working Environment:

You will be working in a fast-paced Perinatal/OB-GYN unit with a patient population ranging from less than one year of age to ninety-nine years of age. You will have access to standard patient care equipment and be required to stand/work for up to twelve hours a day.
