Job Title: Front Desk Agent

At Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign guest accommodations in accordance with our hotel's procedures and policies.
  • Handle assigned bank transactions and perform account postings in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, and in-house groups to provide personalized service to our guests.
  • Accept same-day and advance reservations as required, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Process guest accounts upon check-out in an efficient and accurate manner, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Maintain positive guest relations, addressing any complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Enroll and encourage guests to use our 24K Select Club, explaining the benefits and advantages of membership.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of all company services and entertainment opportunities to provide guests with personalized recommendations.
  • Assist other departments with requirements related to hotel guests, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to use all equipment associated with the position, including keyboards, telephones, fax machines, copiers, and printers.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Must be able to move around the service desk effectively, pull up portfolios, reach across the counter for customer transactions, and retrieve and replace safety deposit boxes as needed.
  • Must be able to effectively use a computer to access, understand, and input customer information.
  • Must be able to work in crowds and noise, depending on customer volume.
Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • High school education or equivalent, with two months of on-the-job training or related experience.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Attend required training sessions offered by Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe.
  • Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee's department.

Pay Range: USD $13.50 - USD $16.00 /Hr.
