About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our Silicon Technologies group at Apple. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing and manufacturing our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system software that powers our current and next-generation system level test equipment.
  • Work cross-functionally with platform architecture, Silicon Validation, product engineering, and other hardware/software teams within Apple and our vendors to develop and integrate best-in-class software and hardware.
  • Develop silicon characterization algorithms, diagnostics routines, and performance measurement tools.
Requirements
  • BS and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in systems software design and development.
  • Excellent programming (C/C/C#) and scripting skills (Python).
  • Proficiency with developing large, complex system software.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules and deliver on time.
  • Experience with software development on Windows/Mac OS/Linux OS.
  • Good understanding of network technologies, protocols.
  • System Level Test equipment or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) experience.
  • SEMI standards knowledge.
  • Machine Learning, Data analysis, databases, SQL experience.
  • Project management experience.
