Medicorp, Inc. dba Physician Empire is seeking a skilled Nocturnist Physician to join our team at our hospital in the New Orleans greater metro area.
- Our hospital is located approximately 50 minutes from New Orleans, LA, and 1 hour and 10 minutes from Baton Rouge, offering a great balance of work and lifestyle.
- We are a resort community and teaching hospital with a local Family medicine residency in-house and a nursing school, providing opportunities for growth and development.
- Our stable 15-year-old program consists of 20 Hospitalists working closely with 3 academic centers in Louisiana, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
- The nocturnist shift is from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with 174 shifts per year.
- Our staffing model includes 2 nocturnists and 1 NP at night who covers floor calls, ensuring adequate support and coverage.
- We have 9 daytime teams and 2 nocturnists at night, providing a smooth transition of care.
- Our hospital is staffed by 20 full-time physicians and growing, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- We have a midline/PICC line team, anesthesia for intubations, and interventional radiology for all other procedures, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Our hospital has an open ICU where we co-manage patients with pulmonary/critical care, providing a challenging and rewarding experience.
- We offer hospital employment with a competitive salary, full comprehensive benefits, and a 25% bump in pay for nights.
- Additionally, we offer student loan forgiveness and paid relocation, making this an attractive opportunity for the right candidate.
