Paraprofessional Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paraprofessional to join our team at ProCare Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of classroom management and experience working with elementary school students.

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing classroom activities
• Work with small groups and individual students to support their learning and development
• Supervise students during play and other activities
• Help to maintain a safe and positive learning environment

• Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 60+ hours of college credits or associates degree preferred
• Paraprofessional license/certification or substitute license/certification preferred
• CPI training preferred
• Prior experience in a school/daycare setting or working with special education and behavioral kids preferred
