About CenExel iResearch, LLCWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Trial Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Trial Assistant, you will provide critical support to the clinical trials process and contribute to the success of our research studies.
Job Description:Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle or assist with administrative activities associated with the conduct of clinical trials.
- Maintain accurate records, including documentation of patient data, study participant vital signs, and ECGs.
- Review and report any missing or inconsistent documentation on charts.
- Performs and records study participant vital signs and ECGs as needed.
- Collects study specimen according to the protocol which may include phlebotomy, processing, and preparation for shipping.
- Monitor the Nurses Station as needed (i.e., answering phones, preparing shift report, etc.).
- Checks computer/email for visits, updates, and inter-office communication.
- Monitors visitation between study participants and family/friend(s).
- Replenishes CRU water/juices/coffee/snacks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of licensure.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia and minimum of five years of related nursing experience.
- CPR Certification required; Medical Terminology Certification preferred but not required.
