This role performs a wide range of laboratory procedures, including specimen processing, testing, and result calculation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures, including specimen processing and handling, testing, and result calculation.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including instruments and equipment.
  • Assist in the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Perform phlebotomy and other patient-oriented tasks.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
  • One year of approved clinical laboratory experience, including a clinical rotation through various laboratory sections.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from a recognized accrediting agency.

Work Schedule:

12-hour shifts, 6AM - 6PM, Monday to Friday.

Work Type:

Full-time.
