Swift Transportation is currently hiring skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanics to join our team.
We offer a competitive salary of $22.00-$33.00 per hour, plus overtime eligibility and potential quarterly bonus pay based on company performance.
Job Overview:This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the biggest fleets on the road, with over 13,000 trucks, 60,000 trailers, and 12,000 company drivers.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all company-owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment.
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and re-assemble Heavy Truck & Trailer components.
- Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience required.
- Demonstrated/proven superior customer service skills.
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals and complete/fill tags and repair orders.
- Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software used on tractor/trailers.
- Valid driver's license.
