About the RoleThe Respiratory Care Practitioner will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and families on respiratory care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Assess patient needs and develop and implement treatment plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) or State Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT), or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
