Job Summary

This is a full-time position responsible for delivering medical equipment and supplies to private residences and MercyOne facilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and experience in medical equipment delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver medical equipment and supplies to patients and facilities in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide equipment management support and ensure equipment is patient-ready and stored according to regulations.
  • Enter inventory in/out into the TIMS system.
  • Pick up equipment when home care is complete.
  • Assemble and disassemble patient equipment.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle(s) in clean and orderly condition.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and employee health policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid IA driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • HME delivery/customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and mathematics, science, and mechanical aptitudes desirable.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
