About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Landscaping Supervisor to oversee a crew in our maintenance division. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description
As a Landscaping Supervisor with Baker Commercial Landscaping of Tampa, LLC., you will be responsible for overseeing daily jobs, ensuring they are completed within the allotted schedule. You will also be required to accurately administer and record keeping of daily timesheets and equipment inventories. A valid Florida driver's license with Company insurance qualification is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Complete scheduled work, direct and delegate to crew members their responsibilities and activities on the job site, coordinate work
  • Operate, clean and inspect landscape equipment and report any deficiencies to the shop
  • Train and direct landscape Crew Members to perform all tasks of landscape services
  • Supervision of crew using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with OSHA safety standards including company/safety policies, proper lifting techniques, and heat stress prevention.
  • Follow federal, state and local regulations regarding use, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Share in the overall organization and cleanliness of landscape equipment, vehicles and facility

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry (50 pounds) and stand, kneel and/or bend for long periods of time.
  • Ability to withstand exposure to outside weather conditions: humidity, rain, hot and cold temperatures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid Florida driver's license with Company insurance qualification a plus
