We are seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our team at Madison Honda. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Entry and Review: Accurately enter and review invoices, vouchers, and payment requests to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve account-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Statement Balancing: Balance statements and finalize data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Accounts Payable: Process accounts payable invoices and payment requests, and issue reimbursement checks as needed.
- Matching and Reconciliation: Match checks to invoices/payment requests after each check run cycle and reconcile batches to ensure accuracy.
- Preparation and Verification: Prepare accounts for payments and verify data in the system to ensure accuracy.
- Filing and Cashier Duties: Perform filing duties and act as a cashier as needed.
- Back-up Receptionist: Provide back-up receptionist support for the front desk during breaks.
- Deal Breakdown and Costing: Break down and cost deals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Daily Deposit: Process daily deposits and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Posting and Billing: Post accounts payable/receivable and bill out deals, swaps, and wholesales.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Previous Dealership Experience: Required.
- Ability to Balance Large Volume Accounts: Essential.
- Detail-Oriented Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills required.
- Fast Learner: Ability to adapt to change and handle a demanding environment.
- Ability to Work Independently and with a Team: Required.
- Professional Appearance: Essential.
- Strong Communication and People Skills: Both written and verbal communication skills required.
- Authorized to Work in the USA: Required.
- Pre-Employment Testing: Ability to pass background checks, MVR, and valid driver's license.
