Job Overview

Forhyre is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team in a travel position. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and imaging techniques, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiovascular imaging procedures, including angiography and venography, to obtain accurate diagnostic results.
  • Operate radiological equipment to ensure high-quality images are obtained.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast materials as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in cardiovascular imaging preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular radiology or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
