Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Research Medical Center. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and education to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to patients and their families.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or equivalent.
- Dysrhythmia recognition, pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular/pulmonary assessment, basic knowledge of exercise physiology and clinical exercise physiology preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in ICU, CCU or other critical care nursing is required; a minimum of 1-year experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation is preferred.
