Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, providing diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Have two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all the duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • Be licensed in the required state.
  • Be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of the required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Have effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Be able to learn applications relevant to the position.
Work Experience

At least two years of experience in a clinical area, preferably in EP.
