As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment, including diesel heavy trucks and engines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) and troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild major components on vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement of components.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Assist in the repair and adjustment of equipment.
  • Wash vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
  • Assist with service calls for breakdowns.
  • Perform other maintenance-related work as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • A valid driver's license is required. CDL preferred.
  • Experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment or training from a recognized trade school is required.
  • Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with colleagues, drivers, and dispatch, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.
  • Must be able to meet the physical and safety requirements of the position.
  • Must be able to provide own tools.

Salary Range Minimum: USD $29.41/Hr.
