Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical and Sub-Acute Care Unit team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and establish a written plan of care consistent with their special needs and significant social and environmental relationships.
  • Coordinate patient care activities with other nursing staff and ancillary services.
  • Maintain established standards of nursing practice based on a thorough knowledge of the interrelatedness of body systems and the dynamic nature of the life process.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and support families within the units.
  • Promote the institution's philosophy, mission, and values during all interactions with patients, families, staff, and others.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
  • Prior medical/surgical and pediatric experience is preferred.
  • Basic American Heart Life Support Course completion.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course completion.
  • Computer skills and basic knowledge of the Windows environment, order management, and patient care information.
  • Completion of all competencies required by the Unit Director.
