  • ASN or Nursing Diploma">
  • Strong communication and organizational skills">
  • Proficient computer skills">
  • Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement">
  • BLS from the American Heart Association">

Scheduling Requirements:

  • ">
  • Day Shift">
  • Per Diem">
  • Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 2 shifts a month">
  • Will need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday">

Essential Functions:

">

The Nurse Care Specialist provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. They assure awareness of ethical standards of practice and maintain a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors">
  3. Knowledge of the patient population served">
  4. Supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members">
  5. Collaborating with other patient care providers">
  6. Consistently setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement">
  7. Utilizing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient s needs">

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $ $145,500 based on industry standards and location.
