About the Role:
Fulfill guest needs by delivering exceptional expertise in wines, spirits, and mixed drinks, along with insights into preparation techniques. The Lead Bartender oversees the bar schedule, manages product inventory, ensures bar supplies are stocked, and meets the objectives set by management for the bar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide the team of bartenders and bar assistants to foster a successful and innovative bar atmosphere.
  • Craft and serve a variety of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu, ensuring accurate pouring, mixing, and blending in accordance with established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
  • Verify guest orders, including any special requests from the lounge server, using the hotel's point-of-sale system; confirm completed orders against the guest's original request.
  • Provide service and take orders from guests seated at the bar, offering engaging and detailed descriptions of each item's origin, flavor profile, and preparation methods; maintain a comprehensive knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty cocktails.
  • Anticipate guest needs, gauge satisfaction, and offer recommendations while responding promptly and appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card transactions; properly manage voided checks or complimentary items.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in bartending or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in pouring, mixing, and blending a diverse range of wines, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
