Metropolitan Family Services is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Southwest Restore, Renew and Reinvest (R3) Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to clients across the lifespan, including assessment, case management, counseling, advocacy, and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake processes for various program services.
  • Provide a range of case management, counseling, advocacy, educational, and related services to clients.
  • Deliver office and community-based mental health treatment services to clients across the lifespan.
  • Leverage agency and community resources to support clients.
  • Assess community conditions affecting clients and identify resource gaps and problems.
  • Recommend financial assistance for clients as needed.
  • Develop and implement group services based on program needs.
  • Represent and interpret programs of Metropolitan Family Services in the community.
  • Participate in regional or agency-wide committees as assigned.
  • Meet agency expectations for direct service quantity and quality.
  • Comply with agency record-keeping expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • 1-2 years of counseling, social work, or related work experience.
  • Eligibility to apply for a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor (LSW or LPC) license.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance to perform essential job functions.
  • Proof of vaccination or approved medical exemption.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
