Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
  • Implement Business Plans: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business plans, setting goals and objectives for the warehouse team.
  • Monitor Productivity: Analyze business reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure that all associates are trained on company policies and procedures, and that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Identify and Resolve Concerns: Listen to and address concerns from associates, customers, and suppliers, and work to resolve any issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Supervise and Develop Associates: Provide guidance and support to associates, and work to develop their skills and knowledge to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Facilitate Carrier Operations: Process and monitor carrier claims, and work with carriers and the home office to resolve any issues.
  • Manage Processing of Shipments: Oversee the processing of shipments, including purchase orders, inbound containers, and claims, and ensure that all freight is processed correctly.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year supervisory experience, or equivalent experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
