Arcfield is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support our US Navy customer Strategic Systems Programs in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development, test, and production phases of a new weapon design.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Navy in the development, test, and production phases of a new weapon design.
- Serve as technical secretary for various DoD/DOE working groups.
- Analyze and trace requirements.
- Evaluate risks.
- Review and comment on detailed test plans and reports.
- Analyze detailed schedules in support of EVMS.
- Assess the design and production efforts of the Design and Production Agents.
- Serve as independent evaluator for formal design development, integration, qualification, and production reviews.
- Interface with SSP, Joint Staff, DTRA, Army, Navy, DOE (NNSA), OSD, and contractor personnel.
- Represent the Navy customer at various meetings when they cannot be present.
- BS in a technical field with 5-7 years of experience, MS with 3-5 years, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
- Experience with weapons production and delivery.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Current Top-Secret Clearance.
- Understanding of the nuclear weapons development process.
- Experience with DOORS.
- Experience with Model Based System Engineering.
- DOE Q clearance.
Arcfield offers a competitive salary range of $78,945.49 to $189,704.83, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, short-term and long-term disability, retirement and savings, learning and development opportunities, and wellness programs.
