Position Overview

ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital, situated in Ahoskie, North Carolina, is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to become a vital part of their surgical services team. The selected professional will operate as an independent contractor.

Work-Life Balance

This role offers a favorable work-life balance with a schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, allowing for ample personal time. The location is conveniently close to the scenic beaches of North Carolina and Virginia.

  • Hospital privileges at ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital - Community Practice Model
  • Independent contractor position (1099)
  • Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient care
  • Shared call duties
  • Supervision of experienced CRNAs
  • Flexible work schedule options, including part-time availability
  • Involvement in General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and OB/GYN cases
  • Approximately 180 surgical cases handled monthly
  • Procedures encompass general anesthesia, blocks, and labor epidurals
  • Comprehensive malpractice coverage, including tail coverage
  • Short commute from nearby urban areas

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, qualified candidates may be eligible for various incentives such as loan repayment, sign-on bonuses, income guarantees, and stipends for residency or fellowship commitments.
