Job Overview:
Under general supervision, the Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist will execute all duties related to respiratory care. This includes setting up and administering both routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients across all age groups. The specialist will be responsible for the application and management of acute care ventilators utilized for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation. It is expected that Respiratory Care Specialists will demonstrate self-direction in the absence of the full-time Team Leader. Additionally, maintaining all departmental and hospital records and accurately entering information into the hospital's computer system for the therapies administered is essential.
Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of RECENT (within the last year or Current) ACUTE CARE RRT Experience *NOT CONSIDERING CRT EXPERIENCE*Must possess a Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or be eligible for state licensure.Compensation:Pay Rates: UP to $36.95/hr.
