Job Overview

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team in a per diem / PRN assignment in a top-rated Oncology- Proton Center in the country. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Radiation Therapist to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer, utilizing advanced technology and equipment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine the most effective treatment approach.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist in proton therapy.
  • Graduate of a JCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program.
  • Active ARRT license required or successful completion of registry exam within 6 months of starting.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
