Job Summary

CHI Health Good Samaritan is seeking a skilled Travel ICU Nurse RN to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular and respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including cardiac rhythms and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Perform various procedures, such as inserting central lines and arterial lines.
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations.
  • Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or Iowa.
  • 2+ years of ICU experience, with a focus on cardiovascular and respiratory care.
  • ACLS and BLS certification.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
